Kristin Cavallari is a famous American Reality TV star. After her parents split up, the Colorado-born Kristin moved in with her dad in Laguna Beach. Kristin Cavallari then switched schools from Santa Margarita Catholic High School to Laguna Beach High School, where her dad helped her obtain a driver’s license. On her third year at Laguna Beach High, Kristin and several other schoolmates were chosen by MTV to star in the new reality series named “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County,” where the unscripted real lives of Orange County teens were followed on-screen.
On the first season of “Laguna Beach,” the love triangle between Kristin Cavallari, senior student Stephen Colletti and a senior girl named Lauren Conrad became the season’s plot. Although the three became friends later that season, Kristin Cavallari only stayed on the show until season 2. However, she was nominated for a Teen Choice Award for ‘TV – Choice Reality Star (Female).’
After “Laguna Beach,” Kristin Cavallari became the host of UPN’s “Get this Party Started” in 2006. She then appeared on an episode of “Veronica Mars” and starred on two music videos – “For You I Will (Confidence)” by Teddy Geiger and “In Love with a Girl” by Gavin Degraw. By 2007, Kristin Cavallari has transitioned into the big screen, appearing in movies such as “Green Flash,” “Fingerprints,” “Spring Breakdown” and “Van Wilder: Freshman Year.” In May 2009, Kristin Cavallari inked a two-season deal with MTV to star on the ‘Laguna Beach’ spin-off “The Hills” from season 5 to 6.
Kristin Cavallari has also appeared in a public service announcement entitled “Until There’s a Cure,” which hopes to raise awareness and funds for AIDS/HIV research and vaccine development. She has also been featured on the “We Are Ellis Island” campaign and an ad for PETA.
