Kristin Cavallari Biography
Kristin Cavallari was born on January 5, 1987 in Denver, Colorado. When her parents divorced, Kristin moved with her mom in Illinois, while her brother moved with their dad in Laguna Beach, California. A few years later, Kristin Cavallari moved with her dad in the Orange County, where she attended Santa Margarita Catholic High School. On her second year, Cavallari moved to Laguna Beach High School, where Kristin and several schoolmates were picked to join the new MTV reality show that follows the everyday lives of Orange County teens.
Kristin Cavallari was in her junior year when the first season of “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County” taped. At that time, Kristin had an on-and-off romantic relationship with a senior student named Stephen Colletti. Cavallari’s relationship with Colletti caused a rivalry with another senior student (now reality TV star and author) Lauren Conrad. For the first season of “Laguna Beach,” the love triangle between Kristin Cavallari, Conrad and Colletti became the central plotline of the show. Kristin Cavallari stayed on the show from 2004 to 2005. In 2006, she was earned a Teen Choice Award nomination for “TV – Choice Reality Star (Female).”
After her work on “Laguna Beach” ended, Kristin Cavallari moved to Los Angeles and enrolled herself at Loyola Marymount University. During this time, Cavallari ranked #8 on Reality TV Magazine’s “List of the Greatest Female Reality Stars of 2005.”
Kristin Cavallari then landed work as a host for UPN’s “Get this Party Started” in 2006. That same year, Kristin Cavallari made a one-episode appearance in the TV series “Veronica Mars” and starred in the music videos of Teddy Geiger’s song “For You I Will (Confidence)” and Gavin Degraw’s song “In Love with a Girl.”
In 2007, Kristin Cavallari landed a role in the movie “Green Flash.” The following year, she appeared in the movies “Fingerprints” and “Spring Breakdown.” Kristin Cavallari also had a role on the 2009 movie “Van Wilder: Freshman Year.” In May 2009, she landed a two-season deal with MTV to appear on the reality TV series “The Hills.”
Kristin Cavallari was featured in the PSA campaign “Until There’s a Cure” to raise awareness and funds for HIV/AIDS research and vaccine development. She has also appeared on PETA ads and has served as a spokesperson for “We Are Ellis Island,” a campaign supporting the restoration of Ellis Island historic buildings.
Kristin Cavallari dated ‘Laguna Beach’ co-star Stephen Colletti. When the show ended, Kristin dated Brody Jenner, but broke up in mid-2006. Cavallari also dated actor Nick Zano.
